This is a large gorgeous formation of blue kyanite that will self-stand to truly show off its beauty. And it is large, the main blade is over six inches!  The blades are streaked with different hues of blue with some gemmy streaks. The surface shimmers with a silver sheen. This group is bound by a mass of mostly smoky quartz. Golden healer inclusions give the quartz the appearance similar to citrine. Kyanite is one of my favorite pieces. Kyanite has a beautiful energy for opening and activating the chakras. It does not accumulate negative energy but assists to dissipate it. This makes kyanite a perfect tool during healing sessions. I feel very connected to my higher self and to my spirit guide when I am holding kyanite. I have the ability to discern between what's important and what is trivial and I feel in complete control. Kyanite is one of the Archangel Michael's stones, and will not retain any kind of negativity. I think this is interesting, as the other well known stone that will not hold negativity is citrine, also one of Michael's stones! Kyanite will not accept negative energy. It aligns chakras automatically. The user needs only to hold it. Kyanite also facilitates meditation and is useful for treatment of muscular problems. Kyanite is one of two minerals that does not accumulate negative energy and never needs cleansing.
