Lemurian Seed Crystals are mined in Brazil. They were found at the top of a hill that was being strip-mined for quartz. These naturally formed crystals were found separately in sand, and were not attached to clusters. They immediately got attention because they were not like the rest of the quartz found in clusters in that area. Some, but not all, carry a pink to reddish glow. These unique crystals are clear quartz, but instead of being shiny, they appear frosted or dull - like they have a matte finish. Their most unique characteristic is a series of horizontal striations running up one or more sides of the crystals. Usually, these distinct horizontal striations end in a triangular face, forming the apex of the crystal. This crystal is from Serra do Cabral, outside of Joaquim Felicio, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. There are still some stocks available from the old mine, but these are quite limited. However rights to open the other side of the hill have been obtained and a new supply of Lemurians are becoming available. This crystal however is from the original mine.

This intriguing laser has been hanging out for awhile.  From our Tucson trip last year, this crystal has been patiently waiting for us to discover that it didn't have a page!  It finally spoke up, so it must be ready to head out into the world!  Tabular in formation, the laser has beautiful clarity, and the horizontal markings that identify Lemurians.  The laser tapers sharply to a small point, almost like the point of a needle.  The faces on this Lemurian are completely natural and have not been polished.  This beautiful crystal is also a singing crystal. Instead of a dull thunk when you tap the crystal, a melodious tone can be heard. These tones are excellent at clearing negativity from the aura as well as other crystals.

The crystal measures 5" x 1.3" x 0.6" and weighs 3oz.

A crystal with a flattened tabular shape and two of its opposite sides are twice as wide, or more, than its other sides, giving the appearance of a tablet is called a Tabby crystal.
