Lemurian Seed Crystals are mined in Brazil. They were found at the top of a hill that was being strip-mined for quartz. These naturally formed crystals were found separately in sand, and were not attached to clusters. They immediately got attention because they were not like the rest of the quartz found in clusters in that area. Some, but not all, carry a pink to reddish glow. These unique crystals are clear quartz, but instead of being shiny, they appear frosted or dull - like they have a matte finish. Their most unique characteristic is a series of horizontal striations running up one or more sides of the crystals. Usually, these distinct horizontal striations end in a triangular face, forming the apex of the crystal. This crystal is from Serra do Cabral, outside of Joaquim Felicio, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. There are still some stocks available from the old mine, but these are quite limited. However rights to open the other side of the hill have been obtained and a new supply of Lemurians are becoming available and this beauty is from that pocket.

This lovely Lemurian Seed crystal has a pale silvery pink color and lovely gentle ribs.  The termination is intact and has not been polished.  There are a few knicks out of the edges of the shaft as you can see in the photos.  This crystal has a sweet and serene energy like a warm cloak of velvet on a chill day.

The crystal measures 4.3" x 1.3"x 0.7" and weighs 2.6oz.
