Crystals and minerals from the Karur district of India are just making it back into circulation after the entire region was devastated by the Tsunami in 2004. Last year we did find some of these beautiful crystals, but they were extraordinarily expensive. This year we found stunning crystals that are infinitely more affordable! This is a good thing because the crystals coming from this area are true gems.

We're delighted to have found more of these beautiful spirits. Unlike the crystals from our Tucson finds, the crystals from Springfield have a distinct pink hue. Glittering inclusions shimmer beneath the surface, while in some they appear to be lepidocrocite, in others they appear to be rutiles like the strawberry quartz from Kazakhstan, hence their name. This beautiful elestial has a double terminated formation and is a whole complex of crystalline growth. The amethyst is tinged pink by the inclusions which are a mixture of the lepidocrocite and rutile formations. Orange matrix clings to the exterior, and tinges some parts of the elestial orange. This matrix also gives this crystal an earthy musk, more profound when run under water or warmed in your hands. Some mica plates are also present, nestled into the formation. A few minor bruises do not diminish her beauty.

The energy swirls with hues of purple, pink and orange. She has strong heart energies that infuse the sacral chakra and connect them to the crown.
