Pietersite has long been a favorite of mine. I’ve always been enthralled by the deep fiery flash in a wide variety of colors, reds, blues, golds, browns. It has the earthy energy of its cousin tiger eye, but much deeper and more complex. Because of the mottling of colors, pietersite is sometimes called the Tempest Stone, and is said to carry the storm element, purifying one’s body and energies. This beautiful massage wand is from China.

Pietersite is commonly found in gold and red. Pietersite is related to tiger-eye forming in brecciated (broken up) patterns which creates stunning patterns of chatoyant colors. Pietersite is known as the tempest stone because of its strong energy that clears negativities and bringing dramatic changes to your life. Pietersite activates the third eye enhancing your intuition. Furthermore it assists you to trust your intuition and move with it instead of resisting it. This beautiful wand has one end that is round, which is good for reflexology, acupressure, or specific muscle massage work. The other has a point good for directing energy. What is intriguing to me are the inclusions of different minerals with the pietersite.  There are areas of milky white to grey quartz, as well as some areas of metallic luster which I believe to be pyrite.
