Sugilite is a rare material, and it has been some time since we have been able to secure any material. Sugilite comes from one location, the Wessels mine in South Africa which is closed and no new material is being produced. Sugilite is marked by deep purple hues, often found with black manganese. This wonderful batch of high grade sugilite has been tumbled. Sugilite has a high vibrational energy that opens and activates the crown and third eye chakras. So much so, that we recommend working with amethyst first if you have not worked too much these chakras chakra. This stone encourages intuition and heeding the wisdom of your inner self. They foster acceptance and temper anger and opens one to unconditional love. A strong healer which concentrates on your higher self.

This beautiful polished stone is accompanied by veins rich blue tones of richterite. Its energy melds well with the sugilite that is truly blissful.

The stone measures 1.5" x 0.8" x 0.45".

Sugilite helps to open and activate the Crown Chakra and then pushes down through the whole system to ground its energy. Its a bit like a roto rooter moving down through the system, scrambling up stagnant energies and then giving them a pathway to move out of the system. When energetic gook from the system is flushed out, the system can then hold higher amounts of light. The end result of Sugilite is that it serves to raise the frequency of the Being to which it is introduced. This is why it is sought after within the metaphysical community. --Sugilite fine tunes our energies and allows for a larger flow of universal love to enter our system. It has some black within the purple swirls which brings the high light energies all the way down and through ones body. Very cleansing and clearing, it helps to snake the energy pipes of the body.

Richterite is an excellent stone for astral travel and for accessing the Akashic records.
