This piece is, without a doubt, my favorite stone from this spring's Tucson show.  A miraculously large crystal of phenomenally deep blue aquamarine is never easy to come by, and this one just took my breath away.  From Erongo, this beauty just pulls your gaze into the beautiful sparkling depths and takes you to the sun dappled waters of tropical oceans.  It reminds me of warm breezes ruffling my hair while the reflected light dazzles my eyes.  The aquamarine has a crust of sand colored feldspar with a few traces of black tourmaline.  In reality, these would be polished away to leave the blue aquamarine "unsullied".  But frankly I don't care about the crust, the crystal is perfect the way it is.  Many people walked past this beauty because of the crust, and I feel for them because they missed out on a crystal that is truly nothing short of miraculous.  The feldspar and tourmaline speak to its natural origins, and are merely sand and rocks to the pristine ocean of the crystal.

The crystal measures 1.9" x 1" x 1" and weighs 1.8oz.

Aquamarine emits a gentle and compassionate energy, exhibiting moderation. It is a "stone of courage" aiding one to rapidly respond to the situations at hand. It helps judgmental people to be more tolerant, and can help one who is "swamped" by responsibility to bring order to the process.
